Eureka!

I did some digging around on my variety of classic maple tap spigots. I found this one in my stash and it's working great. Perhaps it's the self sealing air trap. The patent for this Eureka sap spigot was improved in 1884. It took First Premium Overall in the 1888 Vermont State Fair. I have 18 taps in on my .85 acre spread. The sap is running like Trump from the law.
